Tim Ascherl - Sales Director
Responsible For:
- Overall sales, new business and securing larger contracts
- Managing the Sales team
- Formulating new product strategies
Background:
- Tim has a high achieving sales background and has been in telecoms sales and operational management roles since 1996
- He has sold over 4 million pounds worth of Siemens equipment since starting in the telecoms industry and has secured many new blue-chip and multi-national contracts
- He was a founding director of a company which went on to be listed as the 21st fastest growing company in the UK according to the Sunday Times Fast Track 100
- Other interests include travel, scuba diving and motorsport
Mark Castle - Commercial Director
Responsible For:
- Overall business strategy
- Managing all commercial aspects of the organization
- Dealing with company compliance issues
Background:
- Mark has been in sales and operational management roles since 1996
- He was a founding director of a company which went on to be listed as the 21st fastest growing company in the UK according to the Sunday Times Fast Track 100
- Has established and managed two successful companies holding and developing residential property
- He is listed in the 2006 edition of "Who's Who of Britain's Young Entrepreneurs" in recognition of his outstanding business achievements
- Mark is married to Kate and has one son, Albert
Roland Hopkins - Technical Director
Responsible For:
- Management of the Opus Telecom Technical Department
- Managing all training aspects for the technical staff
- Sourcing new products
Background:
- Roland enjoyed a successful career in the Royal Navy as a weapons engineer
- He has been in telecoms engineering roles since 1997 when he started as a PBX engineer with Pure Telecom Ltd which has subsequently been purchased by Redstone Communications
- Projects Manager with a leading telecoms company where he successfully integrated, and built and trained a new in house installations team
- Other interests include quad bike Motocross racing
- Roland is married to Joanne
Steve Cranie - Franchisee Support Director
Responsible For:
Steve's role in the team is to help you.
- Succeed! Steve's primary role is to contribute to the success of our all our franchisees. He'll be working closely ('hands on') with you to make sure you have the right level of support to help you achieve the results we believe are possible.
- Get A Steady Stream Of Customers! Steve obviously won't be doing the sales and marketing for you, but he will be continually developing, improving and testing all our existing marketing strategies, and adding others to them to keep your business flourishing.
- Improve 'The System'! Steve is also continually working with us to improve and streamline the franchise system so we get the best possible results from everything we and you do.
Background:
- Steve has worked in the telecoms industry with Marconi for 18 years in various engineering, marketing and business development roles
- He automated factory test systems saving the company over £2 million per annum
- Led a winning £30 million bid to supply new generation payphone products to BT
- Recruited, trained and managed a global Market Development team which generated tens of millions of £'s in contract awards from new markets
- Steve's first business venture brought in a massive 300% return on investment within two years. He grew turnover 40% and net profit 50% by brand development, enhancing product quality and customer focus
- Has produced articles published in various regional telecommunications magazines and spoken at many high profile overseas events
- Actively involved in competitive kneeboarding, skiing and football
- Married to Karen, they have one child - Shannon
As you can see, the Directors have extremely wide and varied backgrounds. They all have a wealth of experience in the telecoms industry and are there to support you.
